Custom Structural Frame for Industrial Robot
A precision-welded mild steel frame for a 6-DOF pick-and-place robot. Engineered from scratch, fabricated in-house, post-weld machined to tolerance.
Existing frame flexed under dynamic load, causing end-effector positioning errors above 0.8mm.
Redesigned with finite element analysis. Section sizes increased, weld sequence optimised to reduce distortion.
Delivered in 18 days. ±0.3mm positional accuracy achieved. Zero rework on delivery.
Modular Drip Irrigation Frame System
Field-deployable aluminium frame system for precision drip irrigation in sloped terrain. 3 prototype iterations over 6 weeks.
Off-the-shelf irrigation hardware couldn't adapt to slope variation. Manual setup time was too high for small farms.
Modular pin-joint frame system adjustable per 5° slope increment. Aluminium profile + stainless fasteners for outdoor durability.
Setup time reduced by 65%. Pre-production sample validated. Now in pilot across 8 farms.
IP67-Rated Industrial Sensor Enclosure
Custom sheet metal enclosure for outdoor process sensors. Designed for IP67 compliance, DIN rail internal mounting, and M20 cable gland integration.
COTS enclosures either too large or lacked correct cable gland positions for the sensor PCB layout.
Custom SS 304 enclosure with machined gland ports, laser-cut DIN rail mount, and powder-coat over zinc phosphate primer.
10-unit batch delivered in 12 days. Passed IP67 water immersion test. Cost 38% below import alternative.
